Welcome to Ask
Ask is an enterprise AI platform from AI71. You can chat with agents, ground answers in your own documents, and build new agents without writing code.
What Ask is
Ask is a single product that bundles four things you would otherwise have to stitch together yourself: a knowledge base, an agent builder, an AI runtime, and an enterprise admin console. The web app is the front door. Ask also supports mobile apps, a browser extension, a Slack bot, a Teams bot, and an embeddable widget. Which of these your organization has depends on your deployment, so ask your admin what's enabled.
And the UI is only half the surface: the API is a first-class citizen of the platform. The same core objects you work with in the app, namely agents, chats, collections, and documents, are available over a REST API with fine-grained API keys, so your team can script workflows and build its own integrations on top of everything described in this guide.
Behind the scenes, Ask is model-agnostic, covering proprietary and open-source model families alike with the exact catalog configured per deployment by your admin, and infrastructure-agnostic: public cloud, sovereign cloud, or air-gapped on-prem. For you as a user, that's invisible: you just chat.
The four core capabilities
What you can do with it
- Ask questions about your team's documents and get answers with citations.
- Pick an agent that already knows about HR, IT, Legal, or another domain.
- Build your own agent for a workflow you do over and over.
- Attach files mid-conversation to summarize, translate, or compare them.
- Talk instead of typing. Every chat can take a recorded voice message, and voice-enabled agents support a full spoken conversation.
- Reach the same agents from whichever channels your org has enabled: Slack, Teams, your phone, or a browser extension.
Who Ask is for
- Non-technical staff: no special training required. If you can write a message, you can use Ask.
- Teams and departments: shared agents give everyone the same, standardized output for common workflows.
- Arabic and English speakers: Ask is built for both languages, from the interface to document understanding (including Arabic OCR).
- Builders and admins: power users create agents without code; admins govern access, usage, and security from one console.
What changes in your day-to-day work
Describe what you need in a single prompt, and Ask handles the rest: retrieving the right information, applying your organization's guardrails, and returning a clear, structured answer. In practice that means faster drafting, briefing, and summarization; more consistent answers grounded in approved knowledge; shorter cycle times for analysis and reporting; and repetitive workflows automated so your time goes to higher-value decisions.
