Upload Document

/v1/documents/upload

Upload a document directly to a collection.

Provide either collection_id or collection_name. If only collection_name is given, the system resolves it to a single collection — errors if zero or multiple matches are found.

Processing statuses:

  • uploading: Initial state during upload
  • queued: Waiting for processing
  • processing: Currently being processed
  • ready: Available for search and retrieval
  • failed: Processing failed (can retry)
  • upload_failed_duplicate_content: Duplicate content detected

Allowed file formats:

  • .pdf, .doc, .docx, .txt, .md, .markdown, .json, .xml, .csv, .tsv, .xls, .xlsm, .xlsx, .pptx, .ppt, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .html
